NoomiClone — Swing, Release, Regrab

Treat Noomi like a ragdoll gymnast: arch, tuck, and let go at the right moment. This page runs the classic bar park in your browser; the mobile app (Matthew Jones / NoomiClone Dev) adds twists, replay clips, Slow Motion, and more maps. This page is unofficial.

NoomiClone — videos & stills

High-level bar lines and regrabs from @noommito. Watch this once so you know what “clean” looks like before you mash inputs in the player.

Street Stunts compilation of tumbling and bar combos. Useful mood-setter if you came from the Play Store listing rather than the browser bar park.

TSI_Yoav walks a basic bar trick. Match this timing: swing → release → rotation → catch, then try it in the player above.

Sammy Perez on building a top swing. If your releases feel weak, this is usually the missing piece — not more buttons.

NoomiClone — ragdoll gymnast on a bar park

A small multi-bar park: hang, swing, release, and catch. Collisions can feel rough — that is part of the early bar-park design.

How to play NoomiClone

  • Start playing: Click Play above and wait a few seconds for the park to load. Click inside the game so keyboard controls stay focused.
  • Browser keyboard: Left arrow to arch, space to tuck, up arrow to let go, R to reset. Some guides also use right arrow to straighten. Mobile uses on-screen taps instead.
  • Learn one chain: Treat every line as: swing → release → rotation → reorient → grab or land. Change only one variable at a time (release point, tuck, or arch).
  • Regrabs before style: A regrab keeps the combo alive. Practice swing → release → regrab before adding flips. Mobile v2.1 later made mid-twist regrabs more forgiving.
  • Bar vs tumbling: Bar maps are about hang momentum and catch timing. Tumbling maps care about takeoff, rotation speed, and a clean landing with almost no bar to save you.
  • Mobile extras: The Play/App Store app (v2.1) adds twist speed (Slow / Regular / Fast), replay clips per attempt, Slow Motion, trampoline maps, Ladders / Spikes / Precisions, and NoomiCoins cosmetics. Use the videos below if you play that version.

What is NoomiClone?

NoomiClone is a physics playground by Matthew Jones (NoomiClone Dev): a ragdoll you swing on bars, tuck, release, and try to catch again. It sits between gymnastics, calisthenics, and freerunning — not a campaign with missions. Stores list it as a flipping simulator with bar mode and tumbling mode (about 1M+ installs, ~4.2★). This page runs the classic keyboard bar park (arch, tuck, let go, reset). Mobile 2.0–2.1 added twists, per-attempt replay clips, twist-speed settings, and wider maps. This page is unofficial.

What you actually do in NoomiClone

Physics first

  • Momentum and body pose matter more than mashing. Early release = weak rotation; late release overshoots the catch.
  • Regrabs are the skill check that turns a swing into a line.
  • Twists (mobile 2.0+) add yaw in the air; 2.1 lets you pick Slow / Regular / Fast and catch mid-twist.

Two play spaces

  • Bar park
    • Hang, pendulum, release, catch another bar. This is the identity of the browser bar park.
    • High-level players farm regrab counts and connected lines, not a score attack.
  • Tumbling & trampoline
    • Floor and bounce maps punish sloppy landings.
    • Treat the trampoline as a launch pad, then finish the rotation on purpose.

Maps, modes, and versions

  • Bar park (this page): An early multi-bar layout with regrabs. Keyboard only — swing, release, catch, reset.
  • Bar mode (mobile): Gymnastics / calisthenics bars: grab, swing, release, regrab. Squat (formerly Jump) was added to bar mode in 1.7.5.
  • Tumbling mode (mobile): Backflip combos with less bar safety. Later updates made tumbling handling closer to bar maps, plus realistic gravity options.
  • Special maps: Trampoline parks, Ladders, Spikes (precision or you eat the floor), Precisions (control over rotation spam). Old Classic map returned in 1.7.5.
  • Cosmetics & IAP: NoomiCoins buy skins. Optional Slow Motion / Remove Ads packs exist on the mobile stores. The free browser park on this page does not use those packs.

NoomiClone — practice notes

  • Release with a destination: Do not let go because the swing looks big. Pick where you want the body after the release, then work backward to the release frame.
  • Small swings first: Max swings hide bad timing. Build a readable pendulum, then stretch amplitude.
  • Slow the twist when learning: On mobile, start Twist Speed on Slow. Reverse a twist by tapping the opposite direction; holding both can freeze the angle.
  • Use Slow Motion as a lab: If a regrab dies every time, slow it down and mark the exact miss — early release, late catch, or body facing the wrong way.
  • Replays are homework: v2.1 saves each attempt as a clip. Compare a fail next to a make: release frame, bar position, landing angle.
  • Trampoline is a launch, not a trick: Bounce → stabilize → rotate → land. Newer trampoline physics keep flip and twist through the bounce instead of wiping them.

NoomiClone — FAQ

Basics

Is NoomiClone free?

Yes — you can play free on this page. The iOS/Android app is also free, with optional NoomiCoins, Slow Motion, and Remove Ads purchases.

Who made NoomiClone?

Matthew Jones / NoomiClone Dev. Store contact: noomiclonedev@gmail.com. We are not the developer; this is an unofficial fan page.

How do I control the browser game?

Click inside the game after Play. Left arches, space tucks, up lets go, R resets. Some guides also use right to straighten.

Can I change maps on PC?

The browser park is a single early layout. Map select, Old Classic, tumbling, and trampoline maps live mainly in the mobile app.

Mechanics & versions

What is a regrab?

Catching a bar again after you released, so the combo continues. Practice that before stacking flips and twists.

Does the browser version have twists and replays?

Twists, twist-speed options, clip replay, and Slow Motion shipped in the mobile 2.0 / 2.1 app. This page runs the classic keyboard bar park without those extras.

Is NoomiClone a parkour game?

It has freerunning flavor, but the stores describe a physics bar / flipping simulator, not an urban parkour campaign.

How do I get better at regrabs?

Keep swings small and readable first. Pick a release target, then add amplitude. Change only one thing at a time — release frame, tuck, or arch — until catches stick.

Is this the official site?

No. Official play: Google Play, App Store, and the developer’s itch.io page (jamesnorth / NoomiClone). Marks belong to the developer.

Long-run player★★★★★

Hard at first, then you actually get better. Two years in, regrabs still feel like a real skill — Discord is where the best lines live.

JT
Physics fan★★★★★

The ragdoll is the whole game. I wanted custom maps and a replay button — the later app updates finally headed that way.

FE
Tumbling enjoyer★★★★☆

Bar tricks plus backflip combos. More trampoline maps please. Easy to understand, mean to master.

RG
Regrab grinder★★★★★

Simple buttons, huge ceiling. I came for bar flips and stayed for 500+ regrab sessions.
